Hello 9-Ball MVP Participants! Your event will start at noon on Saturday October 12th at Goodfellas. We will begin with the Green Tier (1's & 2's) and the White Tier (3's - 4's - 5's). The Black Tier (6's - 9's) will start shortly after. If you have a bye in the first round and are not playing until later, you can show up later but please be there at least a half hour before your start time to check in.

We play this like a singles regional event - times posted are an estimate. Sometimes we are early and sometimes a match may run late. If you have a long break in between matches and leave to get food, etc., please be back at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time.
The 1st and 2nd place players will become qualified for the Spring Regional (to be held on February 28th - March 1st) in addition to prize money and awards. 3rd Place will get a plaque and cash and 5th place will get cash.
There are no timeouts, you are playing this event on your own.
You are not allowed to talk with anyone while in a match - whether at the table or waiting to shoot.
Players must keep score for themselves. You will be given a scoresheet to mark the balls as your opponent makes them and they will do the same for you. If someone wants to keep score for you, it's fine with me as long as it's fine with both players.
The races will be posted on the sheets.
Once we get to the final 8 players, the players will sign in on a singles board and keep full score, including innings and defensive shots.
This is a modified Single Elimination format. It guarantees everyone two chances to play, not necessarily two chances to lose. Those who have a bye in the first round will still get to play twice unless someone forfeits the match to them.
